   How do you hold your fabric? With my hands most of the time.  Depending on the size of the project, though, I'll use a hoop or a scroll frame.

I finished my cousin's cross stitch. It's completed, washed, ironed, and ready to be taken to Michael's tomorrow morning before work. Crap, I have to find out when they open. I guess maybe I'll have to bring it later in the day. I doubt they are open at 8:30-9. And I was going to walk to work tomorrow, too. I guess I still could, but.. hm... ( Read more... )

I just went for my first walk in the park behind my apartment building. Yup, only 9 months after I moved in. Way to be. It was way shorter than I expected it to be. 7 minutes tops. Probably a bit less than 1/4 of a mile considering my walking speed. That's a very rough estimate though. It was rather enjoyable and it is pretty nice outside ( Read more... )

I can finally post about this now that Sarah & Joe have received it! I started this in June thinking, oh, yes, I will get it done by August - ha.ha.ha. Wasn't even close. And that doesn't count the time that it sat around waiting to be framed, and then the time it sat around waiting to be sent from the East Coast of the US to the West Coast. ( Read more... )
